Job Overview:
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing daily living assistance and companionship to our residents. Your caring and supportive nature will make a meaningful difference in their lives, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and cherished.
Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Providing medication reminders and assistance as needed.
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are followed.
Engaging in meaningful interactions with residents to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
Assisting with housekeeping tasks and maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure personalized care plans are implemented and monitored.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in caregiving or a similar role is a plus, but not required. We value a genuine passion for senior care and a willingness to learn.
Compassionate, patient, and attentive demeanor.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Empathy and respect for the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a dynamic environment.
